Cut Paper Collage Workshop

We had an absolutely wonderful time hosting our Summer Reading for Adults: Cut Paper Collage Workshop at the Pocket-Greenhaven Library!

Our room was filled with incredible energy as a warm, friendly group of creators joined us to craft beautiful, custom designs. From the moment everyone arrived and began gathering their materials, the creative juices were flowing.

What Made It Special:

• The Perfect Setup: We arranged our tables into cozy, collaborative spaces of 10, which made it incredibly easy for participants to chat, share ideas, and inspire one another.
• A Room in Motion: We set up a dedicated “sidebar of extras” packed with specialty tools like blades and cutting mats and specialty shape punches. This was a massive hit, giving everyone a perfect excuse to get up, stretch, mingle.
• Endless Creativity: The sheer variety of unique paper art that walked out the door was proof that when you give creative people some paper and a pair of scissors, magic happens!

Looking Ahead: What’s Next?

I love to learn and grow with every event! I’m already leveling up our next session to make it even more premium, dynamic, and fun:

• Elevated Materials: Next time, we’re bringing an even bigger haul of treasures—including printed clip art, laser-cut frames and shapes, and perhaps some whimsical mini-stickers to add that perfect final touch.
• Substrate Choices: Go beyond the page! We’ll be introducing new bases to create on, like blank wooden or cardboard boxes, so you can walk away with a 3D keepsake.
• A Professional Touch: We are upgrading our adhesive game. Say goodbye to standard glue sticks and hello to professional gel mediums and brushes for a sleek, archival finish.
