Join us as a group to share in this calming hands-on activity where we revisit the campfire craft of “God’s Eyes” with yarn, embroidery floss, or t-shirt fabric yarn. Students can use 2 or 3 sticks in various sizes and select from multiple colors and materials. Make an ornament in an hour or a more complex wall piece in a 3 hours session. Learn to make a tassel to adorn your final piece.
Supplies will be provided. Please feel free to donate additional yarn, string, or embroidery floss and/or bring your own sticks.
Learn how to accurately draw a copy of an image using a proportional grid. A great technique for beginners to understand how to shape and form a composition or for more experienced artists to transfer an outline image to a canvas or mural wall. Supplies will be provided. Please feel free to bring an image that you want to work with. Donations of materials and funds for supplies gratefully accepted.
