A Collaborative Sculpture by Gregory Shilling & Heather Hogan
We are pleased to present “Uprooted in the Squall,” a premier collaborative work currently headlining the In the Cut exhibition at Prism Art Space.
This piece represents a rare intersection of two distinct California styles: the deconstructed, structural wood-form abstractions of Gregory Shilling and the intricate, digitally-informed layered compositions of Heather Hogan.

The Work
- Medium: Low-relief sculptural work; painted and finely cut wood.
- Theme: Part of a series rooted in resistance, perseverance, and community.
- Suitability: Ideal for corporate lobbies, high-end residential spaces, or public institutions seeking a high-impact focal point.
Placement & Installation
We are currently seeking a permanent or long-term temporary home for this work. To ensure a seamless acquisition process:
- Full Service: The artists will personally manage and execute the professional installation.
- Adaptability: The work is designed to thrive in various architectural contexts, from modern minimalist to warm, organic interiors.
